Cold feet

And so I have spoken too soon
Your pressures in the sunlight
Long weekends overexposed
Arctic water drops from your hair

A dark rock eclipsing the sea
You insist on what you know
How do I move a stranded whale
I think you must keep your place.

    1. It is so true really. And thank you. There are some things one has to accept and some things one has to give time to reassesss and some things to walk away from. In each case patience is key. 🙂

  1. ‘A dark rock eclipsing the sea’ , how do you move it?
it’s sad when we miss each and the time is just not cooperating.
maybe a revisit to the rock at a later date, it will certainly be there.

    1. How wonderful that you understand. I never saw what I wrote so positively. I did laugh at trying to move a whale alone though. Thank you for helping me see differently. 🙂

      You know what?
That is the best news I have heard all week. That is a fantastic idea. You are more than welcome to use my name in your post. How exciting! I am sure many will be willing to throw in their favourite titles of your work towards the selection process. I certainly am able to, should you wish for that. Yippee. 🙂
