Utopia

Bleaching life right out into oblivion
They touch as if they will never leave each other clean
He has a younger woman now and again, immigrant
Double lives
Utopia.

    1. Well Celestine, let’s just say that this poem pulls in many directions. I will also say that I certainly spent too much time trying to be clean, pretty and acceptable on the outside for nobody instead of working to be clean, good and strong in my heart for myself first. Does that make any sense? 🙂

“When we know better we do better.” Is that not from Maya Angelou? We live and learn. 🙂
