Mad pleasures

The tender movement of goosebumps
To the winking awakening of my flesh
The bad itch of I will not surrender yet
Funny how itchy chooses a place

An urgent sensation I never invented
Oh the thrill of mad mad gratification
Madness out in a perfect sneeze yes
For the next irrational swelling.

  1. My fellow scatterling, hope Norway never blocks the fire in your blood. Sing on, write on, live well.Oh, and yes, enjoy scratching an itch and releasing a sneeze. Freedom is often small and personal.

Got to love it all sometimes. Yes, and freedom needs no witnesses. Enjoy the rest of your week and thank you for taking the time. I appreciate that. πŸ™‚

  2. Interesting verse! What jumped out at me were these lines:

“An urgent sensation I never invented
Oh the thrill of mad mad gratification.”

How could we invent something intrinsic to our own being? What differentiates the gratification from external triggers to the kind you speak of?

I am not sure that I understand you completely here. The fact that neither I nor anyone that I ever heard of has invented these urgent sensations is precisely what makes them so thrilling, mad, pure, funny, tragic. I want to live with them and express these mad pleasures through words in as dignified a manner as I can. Life. πŸ™‚
