“When walking, walk. When eating, eat.”

Zen Proverb

So simple and yet so profound. Indeed, it is the distractions that make life quite miserable. How invigorating it is when I am in that zone, concentrating 🌸

  1. Did my words of wisdom come through the ether to you, probably failed to press the send button…. Your post touched me so…I do fail to keep my thoughts to the job in hand and allow them to wonder at all times , even when asleep!! I am going to try to mend my faulty ways and only think of one thing at the time!! All thanks to you, Nomzi.

    1. ☺️ I hear you. I know fully that this is the answer to completing projects. Because splitting ones attention causes time to be wasted. Mind jumping all over the place. Time management you know. It sounds so simple but damn it’s an effort to practice, daily. Always good to hear from you, Paula.

  2. We try to be masters in everything and never really give what we are doing our full attention – at times we do half heartily, with a part of us on the next task. It’s even sad when we give that half attention to our loved ones… even sad, when we are suppose to be in communion with God. Thank you for reminding me to be present and attentive.

    1. Right? Sometimes I watch myself and catch myself justifying dividing my attention. Sometimes I laugh. I wonder when I got this way. Probably at school.

You are most welcome Rev Lerato. Have an amazing day ❤️

  3. Your words hit home for me. They are what I needed to read out loud and hear. I put serious work into my book for the first time in a long time today. Thank you for inspiring me. Keep writing.
