Deep light

Quietly after summer upon my body
Is she changing her colours again
Will we understand love before we make it
Will we honour the answers at this depth
Do we know what poverty is
Are we awake.

  1. I have a hard time understanding this poem. Maybe because I m tired, but with he summer just ended en the leaves on the trees changing colours it feels as if it is about the fall..

    Keep up the deep writing!

    Warm and colourful greetings!

  2. love making is taken
    very lightly
    in our bubble gum culture,
the poverty of such superficial thoughts
    the fickleness of changing emotions
nothing that was sacred is now serious….

Do I read you well, Nomzi?
