Pray for Spring

Warm gentle rays
Briefly unclench the concrete town
Winter draining into the swollen underearth
Whose bowels digest the dark of your discontent
But who am I to mistake your magnificence
Your cool air invigorating life’s purpose
Oh lift me up
Once more.

  2. A beautiful piece you have written. Both light and dark are part of us. What matters I guess is how we carry it all. Have a lovely afternoon Sumeet. Thank you for the visit and the inspiration. 🙂

  3. Spring is here; the yellow army fell
    Like every year
    To announce the shedding of
    Another winter.
    Underneath the golden earth,
    The frost persists
    In an eternal darkness.

  4. Do you have some seeds started indoors? Are the rivers still ice?
I am blowing you beams of warm sunshine to come through a window and land on your favorite chair ⭐ ⭐ Sunshine to glow in pumpkins…
