Pray for Spring

Warm gentle rays
Briefly unclench the concrete town
Winter draining into the swollen underearth
Whose bowels digest the dark of your discontent
But who am I to mistake your magnificence
Your cool air invigorating life’s purpose
Oh lift me up
Once more.

  2. A beautiful piece you have written. Both light and dark are part of us. What matters I guess is how we carry it all. Have a lovely afternoon Sumeet. Thank you for the visit and the inspiration. πŸ™‚

  3. Spring is here; the yellow army fell
    Like every year
    To announce the shedding of
    Another winter.
    Underneath the golden earth,
    The frost persists
    In an eternal darkness.

I am blowing you beams of warm sunshine to come through a window and land on your favorite chair ⭐ ⭐ Sunshine to glow in pumpkins…
