Each poem is a tiny surrender
A peace offering to you human
Something to slow me down
Long enough to remember you
Long enough to remember me
Home where we know that song.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR
Each poem is a tiny surrender
A peace offering to you human
Something to slow me down
Long enough to remember you
Long enough to remember me
Home where we know that song.

Golden skies
And warm sand
Escape the gray
The too short day
With all the wrong stars
Too cold
Too dark
There is a home
Too far away

When we write poetry, dear Nomzi we surrender a part our soul to the world for scrutiny. Truly beautiful my soul sister. 🙂

I think that those who scrutinize scrutinize themselves. 😀 We can discover many different and wonderful parts of ourselves in others. Thank you so much for your support Celestine and for your kindness. Have a wonderful week. 🙂
